Indians know how to make everything at home. While curd is available in supermarkets, nothing beats the taste of a homemade batch. If you want to infuse it with the earthy scent of soil, here is how to set curd in an earthen pot.
½ litre milk 1 tbsp curd culture
Boil the milk in a heavy-bottom pan.
Let the milk thicken. Turn off the flame and let it cool off.
Clean the earthen pot and spread curd culture on the edges.
When milk is lukewarm, pour it into a pot.
Cover the pot and keep it inside the microwave or in your kitchen corner.
After 4-6 hours, curd will be ready for consumption.
