Also known as finger millet, ragi is a nutritious grain that is rich in calcium, iron and fibre. Ragi flour is a great alternative to the regular flour or maida and can be incorporated into your diet. It is both delicious and healthy. Here are some of the ragi flour recipes: 

Ragi Dosa

A South Indian favourite, ragi dosa is a crispy, savory crepe. Mix ragi flour with rice flour, water, and a bit of curd. Add chopped onions, green chilies, and curry leaves for extra flavor. Serve hot with chutney and sambar. 

Ragi Idli 

These steamed idlis are a nutritious breakfast option. Combine ragi flour with urad dal and ferment overnight. Pour the batter into idli molds and steam. Enjoy with coconut chutney. 

Ragi Roti

This flatbread is perfect for a wholesome meal. Knead ragi flour with hot water, salt, and finely chopped vegetables. Roll out the dough and cook on a hot griddle. Serve with yoghurt or pickle.

Ragi Malt
