Cashews are often added to gravies to enhance the creaminess and richness.
Cashew pasted is added to tikkas and kebabs. Especially in Afghani dishes, cashew paste is extensively used.
This nut is considered a thickening agent and used in soups and stews as well.
Cashews are added to namkeens and chivdas to make the snack crunchier and tastier.
Cashews add extra crunch and flavour to the rice dishes i.e., biryani, pulao etc.
In many desserts like basundi and rabri, cashews are added as a garnish.
