The sweltering heat can be hard to manage if you don't use a pick-me-up now and then. If you have ice trays at home, you can use them to make a number of creative recipes which you can use in drinks or food!  Let's look at some easy uses of ice trays which you can explore this summer.

Flavoured ice cube

Fill the ice trays with water mixed with fruit juice, chopped fruits, or herbs like mint or basil. Once frozen, these flavored ice cubes can be added to water, iced tea, lemonade, or cocktails for a refreshing twist.

Frozen coffee cubes

Pour leftover coffee into the ice trays and freeze them. Use these coffee cubes to chill iced coffee drinks without diluting them as regular ice cubes would.

Frozen yoghurt cubes

Spoon flavored yogurt into the compartments of the ice tray and freeze until solid. Pop out the yogurt bites and enjoy them as a cool and creamy snack on hot days.

Mini popsicles

Insert popsicle sticks or toothpicks into small sections of the ice tray and fill them with blended fruit, yogurt, or juice. Once frozen, these mini popsicles are perfect for quick and refreshing treats.

Herb-infused olive oil cube

Fill the compartments of the ice tray with olive oil and add fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme, or garlic cloves. Freeze them to create convenient portions of herb-infused olive oil for cooking or salads.

Ice tray fruit cubes

Freeze small pieces of fruit like berries, grapes, or diced mango in the compartments of the ice tray. These fruit cubes can be added to drinks or used to keep beverages chilled without watering them down.
