Known for their variety of flavors and satisfying crunch, khakhras are a versatile choice for breakfasts or tea-time munchies. However, keeping khakhras fresh and crispy can be challenging, especially in humid climates. Airtight Containers

One of the easiest ways to keep khakhras crispy is by storing them in airtight containers. Plastic or glass containers with secure lids work best to lock out moisture, which is the main culprit in making khakhras soggy. Avoid large containers that leave too much empty space.

Parchment Paper

When stacking khakhras in containers, place a sheet of parchment or wax paper between each layer. This prevents them from sticking together, which can sometimes lead to breakage, and also helps maintain their crispness by absorbing any excess moisture that might be present in the container.

Keep Away From Direct Sunlight

While it might seem intuitive to store food items in direct sunlight to keep them dry, heat can actually draw moisture into the container when it cools down. Instead, store khakhras in a cool, dry place, away from any direct sunlight or warm areas, like near stoves or ovens. This will help maintain their texture for a longer period.
