5 TRICOLOUR DISHES TO CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence Day marks the end of british rule and establishment of a free and independent nation. Therefore let's celebrate the 75th Independence Day with these tricoloured food.  

TRICOLOUR IDLI

Add boiled carrot and spinach puree to idli batter separately and then spread the batter in the mould and cook tricolour idli.

TRICOLOUR CHAKLI

Add carrot and spinach puree to all purpose flour along with salt and cumin powder to make tricolour chakli.

TRICOLOUR MOMOS

To make tricolour momos add orange and green food colour to the momo dough and steam them for twelve minutes.

TRICOLOUR PULAO

Cook tomato, ghee and spinach pulao separately and arrange them in sequence  of tricolour and your Independence Day pulao is ready to serve. 

TRICOLOUR SMOOTHIE

Blend kiwi, banana and papaya with two tsp of yogurt to make a healthy tricolour smoothie.
