5 Tips To Make Restaurant-Style Pizza At Home

If you love pizzas like we do, and have been trying to get it right at home, here are some great hacks to make for an authentic, homemade pizza.  

Make the dough

Making a pizza dough from scratch isn't so difficult with just some patience. All you need is some unbleached flour, instant dry yeast, sugar, salt, water, and olive oil.  

Time the toppings

Some ingredients cook faster than others, so keep a check on what may cook faster and what might be left undercooked.

Less is more

With toppings, less is more. For instance, just a thin layer of sauce, a few slices of mozzarella cheese would be enough. 

Semolina to the rescue

Smearing semolina flour over the pizza plate right before transferring the pizza dough to the oven can help the dough slide in to the oven instead of sticking. 

Heat up

Make sure your oven is heated to the maximum. It is the key to an evenly cooked pizza.
