Not able to get perfect consistency of the gravy? Follow these tips.
Blend cornstarch or corn flour with some cold water and dissolve in the gravy to make it thick.
A hot gravy always tastes better. If gotten cold or stored in refrigerator, serve it after reheating.
If not satisfied with salt and pepper enhance the flavour of the gravy with a splash of lemon juice.
As the gravy simmers, the flavours become concentrated. Therefore, add a little less salt while cooking, then adjust in the end.
In order to avoid ‘panic cooking’ prepare the gravy beforehand, then later you can use it in your dish.
