5 Tips To Crafting A Healthy Herbal Tea For Wellness And Flavour

Herbal tea, unlike regular tea, does not contain any caffeine. Herbal tea is an infusion of different herbs and/or spices in boiling water. Herbal tea comes loaded with many health benefits, and tastes delicious too. Take a look at the tip to make perfect tea:

Boil Distilled Water  

For the purest form of tea, boil some distilled water in a kettle or pot.

Add The Herbs & Spices 

Once the water gets boiled at around 100 degrees Celsius, add the herbs and spices to the water.  You can add herbs and spices like peppermint, coriander, ginger, tulsi and others.

Boil The Herbs & Spices 

Make sure to add the herbs and spices after the water has reached the boiling point. If not, it will create a condensed and bitter brew. After adding the herbs and spices, boil for 1-2 minutes.

Steep For Another 5 Minutes 

Remove the kettle or pot from heat and let the mixture sit for five minutes.

Strain The Tea Into The Cup 

Use a fine mesh strainer to remove the herbs from the tea before drinking.
