By Jasmine Kaur

Just quick and easy soups that can be made in a pressure cooker in a short amount of time so that you don’t have to take the pressure for dinner.

Potato Soup

Made in a pressure cooker, the potato pieces turn all soft and mushy. Cooked in chicken broth, the soup is creamy due to parmesan cheese and whipping cream.

Corn Soup

The mild sweetness of corn really amps up the taste of the soup. To this, add some bay leaves, chives, garlic and pepper and pressure cook for some time.

Black Bean Soup

This hot and spicy soup is made with mashed black beans and onion, garlic and cumin. The soup is garnished with sweet corn and is a thick and saucy affair.

Split-Pea Soup

The delicious taste of split peas turns the soup bowl into a greenish concoction. Add to this some orzo pasta and the soup thickens instantly.

Cream of Tomato Soup

This tangy preparation is made with tomatoes, cream and milk and is thick and creamy delight in winters. Finish with coriander leaves and some croutons.
