If you love chicken, you must know how essential it is to marinate the chicken perfectly before baking or cooking it. If you think marinating chicken is easy, you are wrong because it takes a lot more efforts and some secret tips. Here are some tips that can help you.
Adding acid ingredient with fat ingredient like oil along with herbs and syrups lends enhanced flavour to the marinade.
Use fresh herbs. If you are using dry herbs, make sure you crush them properly for a better flavour.
An ideal marinade should have a ratio of oil and other acid ingredients as 1:1
Pierce the chicken with a fork so that marinade can seep in. Piercing too much can tear the flesh.
If marinating chicken for more than an hour, you must keep it in glass air-tight container. Always cover it.
