From samosa to pakora, all that can be stuffed with mushrooms is here. The delicious texture and taste of mushrooms makes them apt, not only for curries but for snacks too.
Sliced mushrooms mixed with sliced onions boiled potatoes salt and spices and shaped into cutlets and coated with breadcrumbs and shallow fried makes for a good snacking option.
Chopped mushrooms, potatoes and boiled peas and spices make for a chunky filling inside the conical shaped snack the samosa.
With pieces of mushroom coated in a dried red chilli water, rice flour and ginger garlic paste, these are deep-fried and sautéed with curry leaves.
In this snack, large pieces of mushroom are coated in besan and then deep-fried until they turn golden-brown.
Mixed with gram dal, onions and mushrooms , the kebab mixture is spruced up with green chillies, pepper corn and then shallow fried. It is served with onions rings and green chutney.
