The 10-day long Malayali harvest festival of Onam is here, the festival has many rituals, Onam Sadya being one. This multicourse meal has many kinds of Payasam that are a must try.
This rice and milk pudding is fan-favourite for its simplicity. Ghee, cashew nuts, and cardamoms add to flavour.
Not a fan of rice, no problem. Semiya or vermicelli, condensed milk, ghee, cashew, and raisins make just a fine bowl of payasam.
Chakka means jackfruit. It is the magic of jackfruit, coconut and jaggery that sets this pudding apart
The smooth puree of moong dal combined with ghee, cashew nuts, and cardamom makes the golden pudding, oh-so-special.
Boiled ada, coconut milk, jaggery, cashew and raisins make this dessert all things indulgent and festive.
