5-Minute Beetroot Halwa Recipe For Winters

This quick and easy microwave beetroot halwa is a delightful dessert to serve and impress your guest within 5 minutes. It has a lot of sweetness and a vibrant and colourful hue. Enjoy it warm as a comforting dessert, or serve it chilled with vanilla ice-cream.

Ingredients

1 cup grated beetroot 1 cup milk 1/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons ghee 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder Chopped nuts for garnish (almonds, cashews, or pistachios)

Step 1

Peel and grate the beetroot using a fine grater and set it aside. Combine the grated beetroot and milk and microwave on high for 3-4 minutes.

Step 2

Add sugar to the beetroot-milk mixture. You need to microwave for an additional 1-2 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Step 3

Then, heat the ghee for 30 seconds and add the melted ghee and cardamom powder. You need to keep microwaving for the desired consistency.

Serve hot or cold with your favourite nuts to garnish.
