5 Maharashtrian Drinks That Rule Our Heart

Maharashtrian dishes like pav bhaji and vada pav are popular worldwide, but the state also offers many quirky drinks made with fresh local produces like kokum mango and homemade yogurt  

Sol Kadhi

With Kokum as a chief ingredient, this pink drink is all things tangy and soothing. Coconut milk, green chilli, coriander and mint make the drink more refreshing 

Kairiche Panhe 

The Maharashtrian Aam Panna is made with raw mangoes that are cooked and mashed to pulp. This pulp is then mixed with jaggery, and some spices like cardamom, chaat masala, mint leaves. 

Taak

This Maharashtrian buttermilk is made with whey or the water that is left after churning butter. This liquid is then mixed with ground cumin seeds, ginger, chopped coriander, green chilli and salt. 

Piyush

This drink is made with combining Srikhand and yogurt with nutmeg and cardamom powder is a creamy treat that is also popular in Gujarat. 

Mango Mastani
