5 Eggless High-Protein Indian Breakfasts

Here’s the list of breakfast dishes that one can make with paneer, besan, chana dal or more and they are absolutely desi at heart, and pleasing to the core.     

Dal Ka Paratha 

This paratha made with a  dough that has been mixed with lentils and spices is savoury, super healthy breakfast can be paired with pickles or chutney. 

Oats Idli 

Traditionally idli’s are made with a rice batter, but here, it gets a high protein upgrade with an oat-based batter and veggie chunks.    

Moong Dal Cheela 

This crepe or pancake made with moong dal batter with hints of chillies and chopped onions, are a hit with kids too.  

Pesarattu 

 This dosa from Andhra made of green mung beans is instant, filling and replete with protein.  

Chana Dal Dhokla 

Soft and puffy dhoklas made with chana dal batter is an healthy option for breakfast.  Pair it with chutney or chillies for the best experience.
