5 Hacks To Make  Fluffy And Soft Naan

By Aanchal Mathur

Naan is the favourite bread with paneer makhani and butter chicken. Here’s are a few tips to perfect it

Choose the right flour

Flour is the main ingredient, so using just wheat flour doesn’t give a stretchy consistency, hence use only the all-purpose flour with some oil.

Adding yeast

Take lukewarm water and mix a spoon of yeast and let it rest. Then add the yeast while making the dough and fold it gently

Don’t miss the yoghurt

Yoghurt  gives naan the much-needed softness so add the yoghurt and let it rest after kneading the dough.

Throw in some  flavours

Add some zing to by simply rubbing a masala paste or garlic paste over the dough once it is ready.

Cook on high flame

The trick is to cook naan on high flame. Throw the naan over it with some ghee, flip the pan and let it face the flame directly.
