The kind of perfect combination that offers so many alternatives is fruit and cheese. Fresh or dried fruit's sweetness strikes such a lovely balance with cheese that is thick and creamy.
A satisfying protein-rich combination that never fails is meat and cheese. The same holds true for the piece of chicken or steak that has been sitting in the fridge for a while as well as sliced deli and cured meats.
Cheese that is creamy goes well with briny olives. Eat them together, or place a lot of them on a skewer and make a snack kabob.
