5 Easy Steps To Make Sprouts Salad

Sprouts are considered to be extremely healthy and protein rich. Making them into a salad increases the nutritional qualities of sprouts. Let us see a simple 5 step recipe for it!

Step 1

Take a handful of green moong lentils and soak them in water. Remember that the lentils would soak up water and increase in volume, so take a large bowl.

Step 2

After soaking them overnight, you will see tiny little sprouts on them. Drain all the water and put them in a mixing bowl.

Step 3

Take vegetables of your choice like cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, chillies, onions. Chop them fine and small because the consistency of the salad should be even.

Step 4

To make it healthier, you can add grated beet root. Now, add salt, lime juice, pepper and if you fancy it, a little chaat masala. That's it! Your salad is ready to eat.

Step 5

You can also add paneer or make the salad with other lentils, peas or chickpeas. For the dressing, lemon juice can be replaced by yogurt.
