For non-meat eaters, soya is a great source of vegetarian protein. From kebabs to cutlets, soya can be cooked in a variety of ways to make delicious snacks.
Made with soya granules and tossed in bread crumbs, the kebabs are formed with mashed potatoes and onions and spruced up with green chillies. Serve with green chutney.

Also known as soya lollipop, the chaap is made with soya granules that are packed with potatoes and set on a stick to be fried.
The small, round-shaped dumplings are filled with a spicy stuffing of soya keema. Wrapped in a layer of dough, they are steamed and served with a chilli sauce.
Give your soya chunks a flavour of desi-Chinese with soy sauce, chilli sauce and vegetables like bell peppers and onions. Add cornflour to make it thick and enjoy.
