Since Ganesh Chaturthi is round the corner, make some delicious ladoos at home to appease the lord. It could made with coconut, til, atta and much more.
The sweet white balls of heaven are made with desiccated coconut. While the inside is soft, the exterior is tossed in some more grated coconut for crunch.
Mini balls called boondi are got together to roll up a ball of motichoor ladoo. Loaded with nuts like pistachios, this is an utterly sweet recipe.
The easiest of all are atta ladoos. The wheat flour is roasted in ghee continuously along with chopped nuts and rolled into balls after cooling down.
Remember the churma served with dal baati? The same jaggery and wheat flour mixture can be spruced up and served as ladoos. Add some sesame seeds and enjoy.
Take white sesame seeds. Toss in some ghee and jaggery and roast them together. Once it softens, roll into ladoos and serve with crunchy peanuts on top.
