Gulab jamun is centre to any festival in India. Without it, the dessert platter is incomplete. However, if you don’t have time to prepare it, here are some quick and easy hacks to whip it up even at the last minute.
Instead of making everything from scratch, use ready-made gulab jamun mix to ease your work.
Make dough with mashed bread and milk then turn it into gulab jamun.
Mix milk powder with al-purpose flour and baking soda to make soft and quick dough for gulab jamun.
Combine sugar, water and cardamom then heat it in microwave while stirring occasionally to quickly make the syrup.
If you don’t have time to prepare the dough, you can skip it by making khoya dough with a little bit of all-purpose flour to make gulab jamun.
