Bhurji is an Indian word for ‘scrambled’. This mish mash can be of anything, paneer, eggs, and even oats. Here are five of our favourite Bhurji recipes that have all our heart
Starting with the classic. Scrambled eggs cooked with spices, capsicum, onion and tomatoes, Anda Bhurji can be paired with anything, be it rice, roti or bread.
Another evergreen preparation. Here, the crumbled paneer is cooked with hot spices, veggies and lots of butter. In texture, it is much softer and creamier than anda bhurji.
Can’t have eggs or paneer, here’s a perfect vegan bhurji, goes well with rice, roti and pretty much everything.
Cauliflower has become the new ‘it’ thing among health enthusiasts. Just crumble a floret. Cook them with hot masalas and other veggies of your choice. This side dish is a blockbuster.
Is there anything more versatile than oats? We doubt. This savoury oats cooked with spices, tomatoes and chillies have our heart.
