Coffee comes in many different forms and sizes and mushroom coffee is one of the latest beverages to have joined the long list. The drink comes with the goodness of mushrooms along with the strong aroma and flavour you get with each sip. It has a smoother flavour than other coffee variants and also a lower caffeine content. Mushrooms are made into an organic powder which is then added to milk or water to make mushroom coffee.
Mushroom coffee is rich in antioxidants that help in reducing inflammation while also neutralising free radicals.
Mushroom coffee contains essential vitamins like B5, B3, B2, and folate that help in strengthening your immune system.
Some varieties of mushrooms such as Lion's mane, Reishi, Chaga, and more have been demonstrated to reduce the chances of cancer.
The beverage is also believed to help fight against ulcers, especially Chaga mushrooms.
Reishi mushrooms have the potential to lower blood cholesterol which reduces the chances of heart diseases.
