Kalonji oil promotes hair growth owing to the presence of nigellone and thymoquinone, both potent antihistamines, which are prescribed to people with androgenic alopecia or alopecia areata.

The presence of linoleic acid, which helps prevent the reduction of the black-pigment cells in the follicles, helps prevent premature greying of hair.

Kalonji oil regularises sebum production in the scalp. Besides, the oil brims with fatty amino acids that seals moisture int the hair shaft, reducing frizziness.

Black seed oil is a rich source of anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, and analgesic properties, all important to keep the scalp clean and problem-free.

Take coconut oil and castor oil in a bowl, add kalonji seeds and fenugreek seeds to it. Heat the oil and the seeds. Strain the seeds with the help of the strainer and apply to the hair. Apply once or twice a week for best result.
