Ghee paratha is a flaky, layered flatbread enriched with ghee, making it exceptionally soft and delicious. It differentiates from regular parathas due to the ghee used in its preparation, adding a rich flavour and tenderness.
Flour/Atta - 2 cups + extra if needed 1 tsp Salt 2 tbsp Oil Water, as needed Ghee for pan-frying
Mix flour, salt, and oil in a bowl thoroughly. Gradually add water and knead into a smooth dough.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
Roll out one ball, apply ghee, fold, and repeat to form layers.
Pan-fry the paratha on a hot tawa, applying ghee on both sides until golden.
