Made with egg yolk, vinegar and oil, mayonnaise is a thick and creamy sauce that is enjoyed with sandwiches, ham burgers, salads, fries and more. Make it at home with this simple recipe.

Ingredients

1 whole egg ½ tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp white wine vinegar ¼ tsp Dijon mustard ¼ tsp sea salt 1 cup olive oil

Step 1

Add egg, lemon juice, vinegar, mustard and salt to a blender. Slowly pour oil on top and let it settle for a minute.

Step 2

Combine it for at least 10 to 15 seconds.

Step 3

Once the mixture starts to emulsify, slowly move the stick blender up and down to fully combine the ingredients.

Step 4

Stir it and your mayonnaise is ready to use. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
