The cuisine of Bangladesh - while heavily influenced by Indian flavours - has a charm of its own. Bengali, Mughlai and even flavours from East Asia constitute the cuisine of this unique country. Here are 10 dishes you can't miss.

Bhorta

 This is a traditional Bangladeshi dish made with mashed potatoes or vegetables and spices, often served as a side dish or part of a larger meal.

Borhani

This is a refreshing drink made with yogurt, mint, coriander, and spices, often served as a palate cleanser during feasts.

Morog Pulao

This is a festive dish made with fragrant Basmati rice, chicken, and a blend of spices, often served during weddings or other special occasions.

Bhapa Pitha

These are steamed rice cakes made with rice flour, coconut, and jaggery, and then served with a drizzle of date molasses.

Kala Bhuna

 This is a popular Bangladeshi beef dish that is slow-cooked with spices, onion, and tomato until it becomes tender and flavourful.

Chotpoti
