A chinese dishe combines the vegetables and sauces. A delicious sticky sauce that coats the shrimp beautifully. Comes together in 20 minutes, which makes it the perfect weeknight meal but yet delicious enough for entertaining.
STEP 1.1 marinate shrimp with dash of white pepper, 1 teaspoon cornstarch and 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil. Cover and refrigerate for half an hour.

STEP 2.2 boil a pot of water. Add a few drops of oil. Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water about 2 minutes.

STEP 3.3 transfer the broccoli to cold water. Drain and set aside.prepare the sauce in a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon water, 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. Stir well and set aside.

STEP 4.1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir fry shrimp for 2 minutes, or until color changes. Transfer to a plate.

STEP 5.2. Wash the skillet and then heat the remaining 1 tablespoon oil over high heat. Add garlic and onion. Stir fry for 1 minute.

STEP 6.3. Add shrimp, broccoli and sauce. Stir fry for 1 minute. Add 1/8 teaspoon salt. Serve hot.
