Ingredients for Pan Fried Duck In Plum Sauce Recipe
2 No.s Duck breasts
1 tablespoon Chinese Five Spice Powder
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 tablespoon Clear honey
300 gram Plum sauce
As required Salt
Directions: Pan Fried Duck In Plum Sauce Recipe
step 1
STEP 1.1 make 4 to 5 slashes on the skin of the duck breasts.

STEP 2.2 in a small bowl combine 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp chinese five spice powder, salt to taste and mix well.

STEP 3.3 massage this mixture on the skin and in the cuts of the duck breasts and leave to marinate for 1 hour.

STEP 4.4 in a saucepan add 300 gm plum sauce, ½ tsp garlic powder and mix well. Simmer for 5 minutes.

STEP 5.5 then remove the pan from the heat and allow the sauce to cool.

STEP 6.6 in a frying pan heat 1 tbsp oil on medium heat, when hot place the duck breasts in it, skin side down. fry for 6 minutes then turn the breasts over.

STEP 7.7 continue to fry the breasts for another 6 minutes, spooning the liquid in the pan over the duck while it fries.

STEP 8.8 remove the duck breasts from the pan and leave them to rest for 1 minute. Then cut into medium slices .

STEP 9.9 arrange the slices in a plate, drizzle the plum sauce over the duck and serve.
