Gatte ki sabzi is a signature mouthwatering dish from Rajasthani cuisine. Traditional Rajasthani thali of dal, batti and churma is incomplete without authentic gatte ki sabzi.
STEP 1.1 add all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

STEP 2.2 now add water to it and make a dough.

STEP 3.3 keep the dough aside for 20 mins and let the dough set.

STEP 4.4 apply some oil to your palms and roll the dough into a cylindrical shape.

STEP 5.1 boil water in a pan and as the water boils add the prepared dough cylinders to it.

STEP 6.2 let it cook for 25 minutes.

STEP 7.3 keep it aside and let cool.

STEP 8.4 now cut them into small pieces.

STEP 9.5 add oil to a pan and add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and onions.

STEP 10.6 once onions get cooked add red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric.

STEP 11.7 mix everything well.

STEP 12.8 add salt and 2 tbsp water .

STEP 13.9 add prepared gatte to the pan and mix well
