Dewey's new product is in line with trends. Dewzies from Dewey’s is the new launch of cookies and expansion of their product list with other exceptional snacks too. The cookies are made with 100% authentic ingredients in their hometown bakery in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. They sandwich premium creamy chocolate between two thin and crisp cookies, making it phenomenal. Each Dewzie is free of artificial chemicals, preservatives, and synthetic colours. The product is 5.8 oz each. The pouch holds about 15 cookies.

Dewzies Cookies has expanded its product line with other exceptional snacks. Since 1930, the Dewey's has been a local bakery business in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It offers sweet and savoury pastries, cakes and more with Southern flavours and traditions.

Dewey's has helped generations of families celebrate birthdays, holidays, and life milestones with their baking treats. Scott Livengood, former chairman and CEO of Krispy Kreme, purchased Dewey's Bakery in 2006 and expanded the company's capabilities.

Since then, it has been a ride upwards, growing the business across multiple channels such as Dewey's branded cookies, owned retail bakeries, e-commerce, and contract manufacturing. In 2020, the investment money from Livengood, Eurazeo, and newly appointed CEO Mike Senackerib supported Dewey's product and distribution expansion, taking it to another expansion.

Now that the company is thriving again, it is all set to release trending snacks as a part of its expansion. Dewey's Bakery has expanded its cookie portfolio with the introduction of Dewzies. It is a new snack described as the perfect fusion of the signature of thin and crispy original cookies, which is amazingly layered with rich, real chocolate.

A comment from the company highlights that they are excited about it, too. They said that it has delightful textures and flavours, which take the essence of the brands to a whole new level.

The thin and crispy cookies come in three flavours. The most popular one is original chocolate. The next in line is double chocolate and then mint chocolate. Mint chocolate is also included in the flavour because how people love the flavour of cool chocolate. It may not be everyone’s favourite flavour but it is interesting for one to try.

The suggested retail price of $5.49 is being fixed with the packs of all flavours. The price is very budget-friendly and is in line with the fine quality materials used. In an interview with Baking & Snack last summer the executives at Dewey's Bakery expressed satisfaction with the company's research and development process before the launch.

According to David Catlett the company's chief operating officer said that there is a strict internal process in place to avoid pitching a new item that may not be feasible to implement. It shows the company’s dedication to expanding only the best products that are enjoyable. Have you tried the cookies yet?
