The susina sour, from nostrana in portland, oregon, was the first cocktail we had that really turned us on to the potential of plum brandy. It imparts a dry, fruity richness to this sour, and is perfectly complemented by citrus and juniper. Nostrana uses clear creek distillerys blue plum brandy, a local favorite. Weve also tried it with our favorite serbian slivovitz, and its a gem either way.
