French Toast With Vanilla Recipe

Recipe By The Spruce Eats

This vanilla french toast recipe is wonderful with thicker slices of bread, such as texas toast. Other ideal bread options include brioche or challah. Serve this french toast with fresh berries, sausages, or bacon for a full, hearty breakfast. Sprinkle with some ground cinnamon or cinnamon sugar, or drizzle with maple syrup or golden cane syrup. Feel free to swap out the vanilla extract with some vanilla bean paste, as well. You can also add a little cinnamon to the egg mixture.
