Murgi, is a Hindi, as well as Bengali word for chicken, whereas, Laal Jhol, means a red-coloured gravy. That's right in addition to its fiery, delicious flavour, this dish is also renowned for its lovely red hue. The dish is a typical Sunday brunch recipe, you can also prepare it for any celebratory feast or special ocassions. Make sure you have all your masalas and you are good to go, for the recipe itself is not very time consuming.
