I would call fenugreek as the state vegetable of maharashtra. I think this is one leafy vegetable which is cooked in one out of every three kitchen in maharashtra. Not only it is available in plenty but also full of fragrance when cooked. Cooking vegetables with meat is trendy these days. Well in the state of odisha where i was born, you can even find fish and vegetable cooked together, like chencheda mahura etc. Chicken being my favorite meat, i decided to prepare chicken with methi leaves this time. I can never get bored of chicken. Did you know i was even popular in my class during my graduation as chickenkali. I still need to figure out who and how i got that name.
