The recipe for this basic pizza dough is virtually fat-free and delicious. Top it as you wish, but be sparing with the cheese and generous with the veggies. This pizza dough, made with bread flour, is super-easy to work with, and routinely makes a 12-inch pie. You can, of course, replace some of the bread flour with some whole-wheat flour for an added nutritional boost. This may affect the texture a little, but the pizza will still be satisfying. You can also add some dried herbs into the dry ingredients for added flavor. Finally, you can make the dough ahead of time. After you have punched it down once the dough has risen, you then simply wrap in a floured plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to use.
