Kerala Rose Cookies Recipe

Recipe By Better Butter

Kerala rose cookies also known as achappam/acchumurukku are famous deep fried cookies from kerala. They are crunchy, crispy and have nice golden brown colour. They are mostly made for special festivals like christmas, onam and vishu. Although they are available in shops i wanted to make an egg less version as store bought ones have eggs. I don’t have any problem with eggs though while frying these the smell bothers me a lot. These are not very easy to make, but once you get hold of the correct method you will perfect them. So here’s the recipe of kerala rose cookies.
