Kentucky Buck Recipe

Recipe By Cocktail Party

Typically, bucks are made with ginger ale, but we love this fresh take from bartender erick castro, which uses ginger syrup and club soda for a stronger kick of ginger. If prefer ginger ale, you can still make a lovely version of the kentucky buck by swapping the ginger syrup for simple syrup. But dont you dare change out the bourbon for rye or blended whiskey to do so would be a grave injury to kentuckys honor, where bourbon is the official state spirit. Bucks seem all the more refreshing served in the classic copper (or pewter) mugs, but its just as nice in an old fashioned glass.
