Lately, we have been having more and more busy afternoons and evenings. my husband got a promotion at work, which is fabulous news, but it has resulted in a heavier workload and longer hours for him. couple that with my kids being a children's theater musical production, taking piano lessons and practicing for a school variety show, and you can see how our family time has lessened. we have had to eat on-the-go more or eat separately. this has been hard for me, as one of the things i have always tried to do as a parent is to connect.
