Indian chilled beaten coffee or Dalgona coffee is a beverage made by whipping equal parts instant coffee powder, sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk. Occasionally, it is topped with coffee powder, cocoa, crumbled biscuits, or honey. The history of coffee goes back to the ancient heritage forests of the Ethiopian plateau. Sufi monasteries in Yemen employed coffee as an aid to concentration during prayers. Not to deny students who study for late hours also take the help of coffee to stay awake and concentrated. Also, it's a go-to drink for adults as it can be made in both hot and cold climates according to the preference of a person. Coffee is served in both iced and hot forms and has various making styles making it one of the most diversely loved beverages. Dalgona Coffee is also being called 'quarantine coffee'. The taste of the four-ingredient, two-toned coffee has made it a favourite among those who miss their usual store-bought cuppa. Since going to cafés was not possible during quarantine, many resorted to making Dalgona coffee and enjoying it at home.
