Directions : Chicken Sholay Kebeb Recipe

STEP 1.In a mixer grinder jar add 2 inches ginger chopped, 6 cloves garlic, 2 slit green chillies. Add some water and blend to make smooth paste.

STEP 2.For the chicken sholay batter, in mixing bowl add 1tbsp rice flour, 1 tbsp gram flour, 3 tbsp all purpose flour, 2 tsp sambar powder, 2 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder, salt to taste, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder and mix. Then add the ground ginger garlic chilli paste and mix well.

STEP 3.Add ¼ cup of water or as required and mix to make a thick paste.

STEP 4.Dip the cut boneless chicken breasts into batter and then carefully slide into preheated oil for deep frying in a kadai.

STEP 5.Deep fry on medium heat till dark golden brown and crisp. Remove from oil and drain on a kitchen paper towel.

STEP 6.Add curry leaves into the same oil and fry till crisp.

STEP 7.When serving, add the curry leaves on the top of the chicken sholay kebab.
