Salmon is an ingredient that everyone should be using and cooking more often. Its so good for you loaded up with potassium, b vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids plus, it has amazing flavor and is super easy to prepare. While salmon doesnt really need anything other than olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper, dressing it up with a couple other ingredients can make a world of difference. When we were making dinner the other night we wanted something easy and healthy, something that was packed full of cajun flavor. While we ended up using cajun seasoning, you could easily make your own by blending together paprika, onion and garlic powder, cayenne, thyme, oregano and basil.
