Bulgur Mjaddara Recipe

Recipe By Asian Food Network

Bulgur mjaddara is traditionally made from lentils. Rice, groats, and topped with fragrant and sweet sauted onions. There are plenty of variations to this levantine dish, but here we used lentils and bulgar (groats). It is cheap and easy to get ingredients (in the mediterranean area) often makes it a popular working man's meal, but that does not mean it's not tasty and nutritious We love the caramelized onions in this dish (who doesn't?). Pair it with a side salad for some sweet crunch.
