This is a simple curry recipe, which is a part of everyday meal. It is also called poriyal and is dry curry that can be eaten as a side dish for sambar and rasam. I followed my mom's recipe.

0.75 cup Moong dal
2 Red chilli and green chillies each
4 tablespoon Grated coconut
1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
1 teaspoon Urad dal
0.5 teaspoon Asafoetida
0.5 teaspoon Haldi/ turmeric powder
As required Salt
0.5 teaspoon Sugar
2 teaspoon Oil
