The Winner Is…

The 2024 World Culinary Awards have officially named the finest restaurants globally. The awards, celebrated at a stunning dinner reception in Dubai, recognised culinary excellence across various regions. Mezzaluna at Lebua State Tower in Bangkok, Thailand was named the world's best restaurant, a title it also won for being the best in Thailand and Asia. This two-Michelin-starred restaurant is celebrated for its seasonal seven-course tasting menu, with Chef Ryuki's signature wagyu beef as a standout feature.

In Europe, the prestigious Alléno Paris from Paris took the top spot, while Epice, an intimate gem in Franschhoek, South Africa, won for Africa. Tresind Studio In Dubai was crowned the Best Indian cuisine restaurant in the world. It's also the only Indian restaurant in the UAE to earn two Michelin stars. The restaurant is known to reimagine traditional Indian flavours with innovation, blending familiar tastes with modern culinary techniques. Its creative approach challenges typical perceptions of Indian cuisine, captivating guests with a fresh, refined perspective.

Nobu the world-renowned restaurant chain, established by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper, which blends traditional Japanese flavours with Peruvian ingredients, was awarded the World's Best Restaurant Brand 2024. The World's Best Culinary Destination 2024 was awarded to Dubai while Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) was named the World's Best Emerging Culinary City Destination 2024.
