Sherry Or Port

Sonal Holland, the first Indian recipient of the Master of Wine title, suggests Sherry, which comes from Spain, and Port. which comes from Portugal. Both of them are fortified wines which means extra alcohol is added to them. Hence, Sherry has 16-18% alcohol, and Port has 20-22%.

Amarone della Valpolicella

Expert Sonal Holland suggested this one in one of her reels on Instagram. She swears by its delicious taste and recommends it for every wine enthusiast. This wine is made in Italy following a special process. The brand first dries grapes, and in that process, the content of sugar remains high. This adds to the amount of alcohol in the wine bottles, roughly around 16-17%.

Zinfandel And Shiraz

Zinfandel is prepared in California, and Shiraz comes from Australia. Both destinations are known for their warm weather where grapes can rip into big juicy fruits, hence, the content of sugar is high. During the fermentation process, the alcohol content also adds up, and both bottles have more than 15%.
