Coast Cafe

Having been the darling of Hauz Khas Village for a few years, Coast Cafe is still going strong. Lots of natural light and wicker furniture make it a pleasant place for lunch. The fried calamari and prawns tossed in black pepper are specialties, and the vegetable moilee tastes great with appams. Don’t miss the cocktails.

Oh! Calcutta

Bengalis know how to use seafood in their food like no one else. Oh! Calcutta celebrates the culinary diversity of Calcutta, a city whose food has been influenced by various other cuisines. Try the bhetki fish fry or prawn cutlets for starters and move on to spicy curries that can be mopped up with luchi, a traditional deep-fried flatbread.

Ganesh Restaurant

Besides the usual chicken tikka and mutton seekh kebab, Ganesh restaurant in Karol Bagh offers fish fry, tandoori fish and fish tikka for all those who adore seafood. The food is priced per kilo and is marinated to perfection before it’s cooked. The marinade used is delicate and doesn’t overpower the flavour of the fish.

Delhi’s favourite Parsi restaurant managed to bag the highest accolade for itself: it moved from a compact place in Adchini to managing the canteen at the Delhi Parsi Anjuman. The seafood at Rustom’s is always fresh and flavourful: the patra ni machi is carefully prepared and the rava prawn fry is a treat.
