Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole almonds
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Take a large tray and line it with a baking sheet.
- Spread the almonds on the baking sheet.
- Then, separate an egg white and whisk it till it’s foamy and then add vanilla extract.
- Add the almonds to the egg mixture and coat each one of them.
- In a separate bowl, mix sugar, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Add the sugar mixture to the coated almonds and coat them evenly.
- After coating the almonds, spread them on the baking sheet and bake for about half an hour.
- Let the candied almonds cool till the crust is hardened.
- Now, you can eat a few and store the rest in an airtight jar.
