This simple hack shared by @creative_explained on Instagram shows how we can prolong the shelf life of avocados. All we have to do is place the avocados in a jar, fill the jar with water, seal the jar airtight and store it in the fridge, and that's it! The avocados shall stay fresh for up to two weeks. The blogger further explained that by submerging the avocados in water, you prevent air from oxidising them, thus increasing the shelf life. Isn’t that so simple and genius!?
